This blazer has me counting down the days till I go on vacation and I am not mad about it. Sometimes you just need to splurge on a great piece that you’re not quite sure how many times you wear it, but you have to have.

Happy Tuesday loves! Just one random thought that pretty much everyone has been talking about but I’m just gonna be super basic and chat about this insane weather. Is anyone else wondering where the heck the warm weather went? I was in shorts last weekend and now it’s just back to straight up winter. I’m gonna need Mother Nature to figure her stuff out, like now.
Okay, on to the look. Or really just this blazer. I am SO HERE for this thing I can’t handle it. I will take you to the moment I found this stunner and basically ran to the cash wrap to purchase. So, it was the weekend before St. Patrick’s Day and shocker, I had basically nothing to wear. I’m a bit of a procrastinator, so this is nothing new to wait till the last minute. But it is stressful nonetheless and this baby was a shiny beacon of light when I walked into Zara.
I panicked for a good couple seconds when I saw there were only like 2 blazers left, so I did a little fast walker situation to get there and snag the last small. My Irish prayers had been answered and I was SO HAPPY. It was an obvious hit and I’ve worn it 2 or 3 times since then. Which is kind of surprising, since it’s such a statement piece, I figured it would be months before I felt like wearing it.
But, I have surprised myself with how much I love wearing it and how much I don’t care that I just wore it before breaking it out again. That is the true test of a great piece. Sometimes you need to splurge on a statement piece you’re honestly not sure how many miles of wear you’ll get out of it. First of all, it just makes your soul happy to find and buy it. Then you’ll surprise yourself, more than likely, when you see how many times you grab for it when getting ready.
I’ve rocked this boyfriend style blazer with cutoff denim shorts and sneakers, dark denim and a graphic tee and like it is here, with all white and the most fun pair of slides I’ve ever seen. I lovingly call them carpet shoes and I am so obsessed.
