If y’all haven’t noticed by now, this top literally gives me life. It is so perfect and summery and trendy, I can’t even. And that price tag……it is a no brainer. I could definitely see it being a Labor Day weekend look with an added red lip and we are THERE people. On day two of #TBScon, we had amazing speakers and the networking suite, so I knew the outfit needed to be memorable but also comfortable. The only thing that made this look over the top was the braid from the Loreal booth I got when we were in the networking suite. How much fun is it?! And given the opportunity to have anyone play with my hair is a no brainer for me! Thanks gals!
How sick?!? I have never had anyone try a fishtail-type braid, honestly because I didn’t think my hair was long enough to try, but I am so going to be attempting this one in my spare time and hopefully y’all will see more braids from me in the future. I love figuring out new things I can do, and while I will never claim to be an expert in hair, I do love experimenting.

Last but not least…can we chat about this necktie. Y’ALL…this is literally the best impulse purchase I have ever made. I was at Madewell the weekend before packing for #TBScon and I was trying to find accessories that could take items I already had in my closet and create more of a “styled” look. I debated the tie for about 15 minutes in the store before strutting to the cash wrap and get it. Man am I glad I did! I got so many compliments on it, and I have definitely worn it too many times since then.
Lesson learned, that y’all should learn too, is to take those risks. Don’t ever think you can’t pull something off before actually trying it! This necktie thing was definitely in my “too cool girl for me” folder, until I gave in to my impulse and tried it. So basically what I’m saying is run to Madewell and buy this necktie……DUH. But in all seriousness, I know there has to be a trend out there you are too scared to try, and I’m saying be like Nike and #JustDoIt.
If you need a push in that direction, girl, email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) and I will talk you into it. Trust me, talk to any of my friends…I am the worst and best to shop with because I will convince you that you need “insert item here” and you will walk out with said item. Just lookin’ out for my girls, and guys.
