Y’all know by now I am utterly obsessed with J.Crew. After working there for almost a year, I have officially drunk the koolaid, continue to say “we” whenever we get new arrivals, & searching their blog when in need of some style inspiration.

Setting trends is what they do, & they have done it again with their new lingo – the hookup & the breakup. (See latest Style Guide for more lingo)

Definition:

the hookup: an outfit with the top & bottom in the same print

the breakup: the two looks you get from separating the pieces

These are relationship statuses I can get behind.
