Floral Prints for Spring, Groundbreaking I Know.

Do you ever have one of those days where you’re just completely overwhelmed and you have no idea if you actually know what you’re doing?? Yep, that’s me. But luckily there are tops like this in the world that make it all better [not really, but a gal can dream right?!]

Top // Shorts [similar] // Leopard Mules [under $100!] // Earrings [c/o Kendra Scott] // Sunglasses [literally $15]

I’m just having one of those days where my confidence is shaken and I am not sure I’m #winning at life. In fact, I know I’m not. And before I talk myself off the ledge into sadness and randomly crying on my couch, I have to remind myself that everyone has those days and everyone makes mistakes [enter a Hannah Montana song…yes I took it there y’all]. That it is totally okay to be the girl who doesn’t have it together and is secure enough to let it out. I think we all have our ways of getting out of a funk and for me,

I’m still trying to figure out how to get myself out of a funk and one of the ways I have been trying this week is to do a devotional from the Bible app. I grew up as a Catholic, but to be honest, while I still consider myself one, I have definitely slacked in that department. But with the Bible app, I can do these 5-7 day devotionals and feel so much closer to where I want to be with God. I am currently on day 5 of the Dating in the Modern Age devo, and Y’ALL it is speaking all kinds of truth. I will leave y’all with this quote from today’s devo that really spoke to me, and then I swear we will get to the deets of this lewk because I am #obsessed.

This is to all my single or kinda single gals out there….. “So the purpose of dating is not to find completion as an individual but to find a person of great character and with whom you have great chemistry so you can run into the future God has for both of you. When you date another person, the goal is to grow together so you can encourage, challenge, and shape each other. In the process, you will have to adapt, change, and sacrifice. It won’t always be easy or look like the romantic depictions you see in Hollywood films. But you can be assured the journey will be well worth it.” Here’s hoping!

Okay, let’s get to the clothes shall we. I am so obsessed with this top. It is from my most favorite place to shop for work clothes that are still stylish and super comfy….the Loft. I loved this floral top so much, I bought the matching pants. Paired with a super cute mule in my most favorite neutral, leopard print, you can’t find a more perfect combination.

Hope y’all are still with me after this random look into my brain. Happy almost weekend y’all!
