The day of love is almost here + I’ve found my valentine. These sleeves. Who needs a man when you’re turning heads in this super cute statement sleeve sweatshirt?!

Happy Tuesday friends! I am slowing recovering from my weekend, it was relatively chill but with some heavy duty workouts. I tried out Barry’s Boot Camp for the first time and it was SO FUN! It is an intervals based workout, equal times on the treadmill and floor. The mood is dark with bright red lights that make you feel like you’re on some super secret spy mission. It was a blast, the best part being the smoothies afterward. You can order yours before class starts + it is waiting for you afterwards, like a delicious tasting trophy for completing the grueling 55 minute class.
I then ran the next afternoon, before consuming all of the Super Bowl party food, since my half marathon in Disney will be here faster than I can admit. If you didn’t know, I signed up to run the Disney Princess half marathon with my mom and sister [and my dad is coming too to cheer us on!] last year, and the day is finally almost here! I am super excited, since it falls the weekend before my 29th birthday. What a way to celebrate?!
Now to the real reason y’all are here, the outfit. In true Target fashion, I was not at all looking for this sweatshirt when I stumbled across it while going to Target for cleaning products. Isn’t that how it goes?! I knew I had to have it, as it makes for the perfect chill Valentine’s Day look. And since my plans as of now are looking like a face mask and a romantic comedy solo, I’m thinking this is the most festive way to do it up. I love the statement sleeves + paired with my new favorite flats + a fun pair of tassel earrings, it’s everything I could want in a casual outfit.
How are y’all spending Valentine’s Day? I gotta admit, I’m really indifferent to Valentine’s Day. I’m a firm believer in letting the people you love know that you love them anytime, even though I’m pretty sure I’m terrible at doing this since expressing feelings aren’t always the most comfortable things to do. On the other hand, if I can have one day and celebrate love with chocolate covered anything…that’s a holiday I can get behind.
