Stripes + Ruffles

One of my most favorite trends has got to be the cold-shoulder and off-the-shoulder tops that you are literally seeing everywhere. I can’t seem to get enough. They are flirty and ultra feminine, especially when they come with ruffles. And who doesn’t love being flirty and feminine?!? The reason I fell in L-O-V-E with this one, besides the ruffle detail, is that the stripes make it classic.

I decided to pair this adorable top with a fabulous pair of distressed denim I picked up at Nordstrom Rack, one of my most favorite places to get designer denim for less! I love Paige denim and they always have a great selection! I went for a bold lip and a neutral cross body so it really is all about the shoulder! However, you definitely cannot miss those slides.

Talk about OBSESSED. When my mom spotted these stunners at Nordstrom on my birthday shopping trip, we had to try them on! They are probably one of the most comfortable shoes I own, the leather is literally like butter. I swear, if you’re looking to invest in the slides trend, get after these babies.

Okay, so I’ve got kind of a funny story before I leave you, at least I got a chuckle out of it. There is a story behind why my hair is tied up in a bandana. So, most of y’all know, many bloggers when we shoot outfits do many at the same time and glamorously change in the back seat of their car. Super cute, I know. So, I was in the middle of changing into this number when I was attempting to tie the bandana around my neck. Let me set the mood, it was crazy warm in my car, despite the air blasting, and my hair was being a #hotmess, so the bandana got stuck in my hair. So I was like, oh well I don’t feel like fixing it, a pony will have to do. HA! Gotta love a happy accident like that.
