I don’t know about you guys, especially you bloggers out there, but there are times when I am extremely unproductive. Working a 9-5 and blogging just gets overwhelming sometimes, ya feel me?! I’m not complaining, I absolutely LOVE this blog of mine and love to produce content for y’all, chat with y’all on my social channels, I promise. But, I think anyone who has more than one job, or are really involved with a hobby or whatever you want to call it, there are times when you ask yourself…..can I do it all? Am I Wonder Woman?
I can say, one way I have become more productive is to leave my house when I am working on the blog. Even though I have a super cute desk workspace (see here), I find that I talk myself out of working on TSH if I try to work there. Or I just continue to binge watch Friday Night Lights (my latest Netflix obsession) and make up excuses as to why I will “get to it later.” Classic Emily.
As an example, I am currently writing this post from my window seat at Panera. I just had the most delicious Everything bagel and am now sweet tea in hand knocking this post out. While I definitely people watch, isn’t that the point?!, I definitely am more productive out of the comfort of my own home. Of course, there are lots of things I need to bring when deciding to work remote. You need computer & charger, headphones, notebook & pen etc. Where to store these you ask?! Enter this everyday daypack from Just Porter!

You know I love a good accessory, so obviously I needed a statement backpack and this Piko backpack from Just Porter was perfect. When looking for a backpack, one of the most important things for me are the straps! These are so cushy and soft and super easy to wear, especially when lugging around your computer! It’s also got a sleeve inside that fits my 13′ laptop PERFECTLY! The front pocket is an organizer, so you can keep all your chords, pens etc. all together. How sweet is that!? They really wanted to take the fuss out of backpacks, eliminating any useless pockets and creating something super efficient.
Besides once you purchase an everyday daypack, you are helping children in need! For every bag sold, Just Porter donates a bag full of school supplies to students. Learn more about their Buy a Bag, Give a Bag program here.
How do y’all stay productive?
